On Wednesday, October 13th, Rachel and I took the kids to see the crew from Patch the Pirate. Patch the Pirate was started many years ago by a man named Ron Hamilton who lost his eye to cancer and began wearing a patch. The kids at church called him Patch the Pirate. He and his family began recording music and dramas in 1981. Wow! Ron now has Alzheimer's and lives in a nursing home. His family is traveling the country and visiting churches.
It was a fun memory to make together!
