It's spring and strawberries are in the store! It is the perfect time to make strawberry shortcake.
Here is the biscuit recipe I make.
Bisquick Shortcake Biscuits
2 1/3 cup Bisquick mix
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
3 tbsp. sugar
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Wisk together Bisquick mix and sugar in a bowl. Stir in milk and melted butter just until a soft dough comes together.
Grease a cookie sheet. Divide the dough into 6 pieces and drop onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool for five minutes.
Break into chunks and serve with sliced strawberries and milk.
