A fun idea for smaller churches who do not have a Christian school is to have activities for your home school families. We began having a quarterly chapel and activity for our home schoolers. This quarter, we had a short chapel service followed by fun kickball game.
We then went to Virginia City, NV. A great historical place close to Reno. They are having Flashback Fridays for several months. This includes free admission to 17 different museums there in the town.
Everyone packed a sack lunch and we ate in a park there. We also ended the day with hand dipped ice cream cones. Mmm!
This was a fantastic group of kids and we had a super day!
