Brownie Trifle
This is a delicious dessert that I have made several times and our family loves it! It is family-friendly, easy to make and gives a pretty presentation.
1 box (19.8 oz.) brownie mix (Will also need oil and eggs)
1 package (3.9 oz.) instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup water
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 container (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 container (12 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 chocolate bar
Prepare brownies according to package directions and cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares.
In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, water and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth and then fold in 8 oz. of whipped topping until no streaks remain.
In a trifle bowl, place half of the brownies, half of the pudding mixture and half of the 12 oz. whipped topping. Repeat layers. Shave chocolate onto the top for garnish. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.
