Glacier National Park-Day 2D

While we ate lunch, Eric wanted to wet a line in Avalanche Creek right there on the Going-to-the Sun Road.

Woowee!

After lunch and fishing in Avalanche Creek, we drove to the Trail of the Cedars.  This is a very busy area so parking is VERY limited!

The Trail of the Cedars is only .6 miles long and mostly on a raised boardwalk.  Easy for anyone to do and you could see many varieties of trees and vegetation.

The little waterfalls here and there were so calm and pretty.

Avalanche Creek came rushing down the trail.  It was amazing!

The one side of the trail (to Avalanche Lake) looked like this.  It was almost eerie in a way.

The trail opened up to some beautiful peaks.

What a peak!

And then we came to it...Avalanche Lake!

Absolutely gorgeous!

My loves.

On the hike back, we spotted one doe.
