Glacier National Park-Day 3A

A beautiful Friday morning at the campground!

More day views from the campground.

Eric and I made his Dutch oven breakfast - Eggs Over Fire.  I forgot to take a photo of the whole full pan but got the last part of it.

Again, I forgot to take a complete before picture!  Eggs over fire are stewed tomatoes with sauteed garlic, onion, and jalapenos and then you crack about a dozen eggs on top and cook - make sure not too long so the yolks stay runny.  Then you serve a section on an English muffin.

The St. Mary entrance of Glacier National Park.  The views even at the entrances were amazing!

Views at St. Mary entrance.

Bummer, the Going-to-the-Sun road was only open 14 miles from the St. Mary entrance to Jackson Glacier Overlook.  We were not able to travel the entire road any time during our vacation so we missed many things in the center.  I guess this will mean another trip to finish off the park!

St. Mary Visitor Center on the east side of the park

St. Mary Lake
The second largest lake in the park and 7 miles long.

Wildflowers were so pretty.
