New Years Vacation - Tallulah Gorge - Part 1

To end 2023 and for a special family memory, I rented a cabin in northern Georgia in the Blue Ridge Mountains for December 30 - January 1.

Snacking on some extra toasty Cheezits from Aldi.  LOL!

Autumn is so funny traveling in her bathrobe.  We stopped at Buc-ees and boy, was it busy!

Mountains!!!

We went to the Tallulah Gorge State Park.  We ate our picnic lunch at the state park.  It was cold but refreshing.

My husband had arranged with Addie's boyfriend, Brad, to come and surprise her.  This is the video of that.

Then we hiked the North Rim of the gorge.  So pretty!

The gorge has several waterfalls to enjoy.

It was so refreshing to be in nature, the cooler air, the gorge, the mountains, the rushing water.

There were over 1,000 steps to get down and then back up in the gorge.  We got our exercise in. :)

The suspension bridge that you cross to go over the gorge.

Pretty view from the suspension board.

What a view!
