Recipe: Tuna Noodle Casserole

Tuna Noodle Casserole

Here is a simple tuna noodle casserole that I enjoy and make in our family.

12 oz. egg noodles

1 can peas, drained

1 can tuna, drained

1 package of fresh mushrooms

1 can cream of mushroom soup

salt and pepper

1 sleeve of saltines, crushed

melted butter

Boil noodles until al dente. Drain.  

Saute mushrooms in a little butter.

Add soup, tuna, and a splash of milk to the drained noodles.  Mix well.  Add in mushrooms and peas.  Put the mixture in a greased baking dish.  Crush saltines and mix with melted butter.  Spread on top and bake until the mixture is heated and topping is toasted.
