Our Christmas Eve 2023

Our weather for Christmas Eve!

My memory is horrible!

I do love the ambiance of the season!

Beautiful sunrise!

One of my new favorite ornaments!  The Long Winter is my favorite book in the Little House series.  I got this ornament when we visited Laura's houses this summer.  I hope to collect all the series!

Church in the morning.  No classes.  After church, the girls helped me make a breakfast casserole for Christmas morning, make chicken broccoli fettuccine alfredo for lunch, make twice-baked potato casserole for dinner, mix up dough for sourdough bread and dinner rolls.

We then went to the candlelight and carols Christmas Eve service.  Ava and her cousin, Charlotte, wanted a photo with us.

Christmas Eve 2023.
Addie-20, Autumn-18, Sierra-16 and Summer-13.

We then had our Christmas Eve dinner.  Sirloin steaks and a lamb chop for Eric, twice-baked potato casserole, grilled asparagus and punch pop.

It was so good!  Eric did a great job with the steaks and asparagus.

And then our tradition - "It's a Wonderful Life".

Happy traditions.
